Chelsea and Joe’s wedding at The Moorings Vero Beach, Florida, was nothing short of amazing. The way that I was able to connect on a personal level with these two made my job easy! I had so much fun, and it was truly an honor to travel down to Florida for their big day. Plus, I got to turn it into a mini Disney trip for my boys, making it even more memorable that I was able to bring my family along!

I met Chelsea when she was a bridesmaid in another wedding I photographed last summer at The Estate Atlanta, and she booked me as her photographer right after! We had such a blast at their engagement session, and I knew they would fill their wedding day with laughter and countless heartfelt moments.

The day began with the guys getting ready at the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel while the girls prepped at Chelsea’s parent’s house, which sits on the water. The morning was filled with laughter and excitement, setting the perfect tone for the day. Chelsea and her bridesmaids wore matching pajamas, with Chelsea in white and the bridesmaids in blue and white. The bridesmaids’ reveal and first look with Chelsea’s dad were particularly sweet moments, capturing the deep bonds of family and friendship.

One thing I adored about Chelsea was her ability to go with the flow and enjoy every moment. Nothing fazed her, and her playful banter with friends and family kept everyone smiling. She and Joe exchanged gifts at their respective getting-ready locations, and Chelsea’s reaction was adorable.

Joe and Chelsea chose to share a first look privately before the ceremony. This intimate moment allowed them to take in the significance of the day together. Joe looked dapper in his white jacket and black pants, while Chelsea was a vision in her off-the-shoulder dress. Chelsea’s bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses, each with different textures and styles. Three wore a light blue shade, while the others wore a white and blue floral pattern. We popped a bottle of champagne during the wedding party photos, adding a fun and celebratory touch to the day.

The ceremony occurred at The Moorings Yacht and Country Club, a beautiful clubhouse where Chelsea’s parents are members. Chelsea had a clear vision for the ceremony, wanting the lake as the backdrop and ensuring it didn’t look like a typical golf course. And all of the vendors nailed her vision! The ceremony setup was breathtaking, with blue and white chinoiserie filled with flowers greeting guests and parasols available to provide shade. The floral standing arch at the center where they said their vows was stunning, perfectly complementing their wedding colors. The Moorings Vero Beach was the perfect setting for their ceremony.

As the ceremony began, the picturesque setting enchanted the guests. The grand reveal of Chelsea walking down the aisle, the water shimmering in the background, and the floral arch created a magical atmosphere. After sealing their marriage with a kiss, Joe and Chelsea made their grand exit in the cutest golf cart with a ‘Just Married’ sign, a truly iconic way to head to cocktail hour. This is my all-time favorite photo from their wedding day at The Moorings Vero Beach!

We moved inside the clubhouse for the reception, where a mix of round tables with white and blue floral linens and long farm tables beautifully decorated the space. Florals, cute blue goblets, and a breathtaking floral arrangement surrounding the cake filled the room.

We snuck off for a few sunset photos on the dock, and it was such pretty lighting. It was a serene moment for these two to be together, away from the hustle and bustle, and be in the moment. We came across Chelsea’s nieces and nephews enjoying ice cream, which was such a cute moment.

Sam Hill Entertainment, an Atlanta-based band, brought the party to The Moorings Vero Beach. They had everyone dancing and celebrating all night long. At one point, the newlyweds even ended up on stage, a testament to their fun-loving personalities.

Joe and Chelsea’s wedding at The Moorings Vero Beach was unforgettable, and I am so grateful that I was able to travel down for it. They thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed every detail. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
