Kathleen and Andrew’s Guardian Works Atlanta wedding was full of beautiful moments! When I met this incredible couple, I knew their wedding day would be special.

These two first crossed paths while they were cubemates at work. Fast-forward a few years, they ran into each other again at Piedmont Park. From there, their love story blossomed into what it is today!

When talking with these two, they dreamed of a garden party-inspired celebration, with a color palette featuring lots of white accented by pops of different shades of blue. Two of Kathleen’s bridesmaids wore patterned dresses, standing out as her sister and maid of honor, while the rest of the bridesmaids wore different styles and shades of blue.

Guardian Works stole their hearts when choosing the perfect Atlanta wedding venue. Its exposed brick and beams, but with a lighter, airy vibe, was the ideal backdrop for their dreamy Guardian Works Atlanta wedding reception. The ceremony occurred at the picturesque Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, which was perfect because the two venues aren’t far from one another.

One of my favorite moments of the day was seeing Kathleen’s thoughtfulness in action. Before the ceremony, she took a moment to share a special gift and heartfelt letter with her parents. It was a beautiful reminder to cherish those smaller moments with loved ones on your big day.

Andrew and Kathleen shared a private first look before their ceremony, allowing us to capture some truly amazing Guardian Works Atlanta wedding photos. We got all of the wedding party photos completed early on in the day, allowing everything to run smoothly. It was important for these two to have a relaxing day and not feel rushed with family portraits before the ceremony, and everything went perfectly so they could take in all the important moments.

Once these two were married at the Lutheran Church of Redeemer, we took to the bustling streets of Atlanta for some “paparazzi” style photos. Kathleen rocked it with her wind-blown hair and all. I photographed this set of pictures on black and white film, which added an extra layer of magic to these moments, capturing the raw emotion and storytelling timelessly. I was completely obsessed with how these photos turned out!

We can’t forget about their furry family member. Kathleen and Andrew included their beloved dog, Miller, and even sneaked in some cuddle time during cocktail hour.

All of the details of their Guardian Works Atlanta wedding reception were amazing! The space was adorned with textured and patterned linens, disco balls that added sparkle to the floral installations over the dance floor, and patterned napkins. Everything they added to the already beautiful space took it to the next level.

Their reception was a party to remember! Once the traditional events were complete, foam glow sticks illuminated the dance floor as everyone danced the night away. Kathleen even changed into a fun dress to keep the celebration going strong. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, they surprised their guests with a late-night snack of milk and cookies.

Andrew and Kathleen’s wedding day was such a joy to be part of, and I feel so grateful to capture the love of their day. Congratulations to these newlyweds, and here’s to a lifetime filled with love and endless adventures together!
