Lauren and Marc had a beautiful spring day for The Manor Golf and Country Club wedding. I first met this adorable couple at an event hosted by Atlanta realtor Jamey Jones several years ago. Jamey had hired me to take family photos of her clients as they arrived, and I couldn’t help but comment on how cute Lauren and Marc were together. Jamey told me, “I can almost guarantee they will be engaged soon!” And she was right! When I heard from them with the exciting news, I was thrilled to be part of their special day.
The day began at The Hamilton in Alpharetta, where Lauren and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Hair and makeup were in full swing when the suite was full of excitement and joy. Once Lauren was dressed, she shared her first look with her dad, which was one of the sweetest moments of the day. Lauren had prepared a special gift for him – custom engraved cufflinks featuring a picture she drew when she was little. Watching her father’s face light up as he opened the gift was priceless, and Lauren’s mom was emotional as she also witnessed this moment.
Marc and Lauren’s ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, a perfect venue for their full Catholic mass. The church, with its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere, was filled with their closest family and friends. As Lauren walked down the aisle, Marc’s expression was a mixture of awe and pure love.
Once the ceremony concluded, we had a gap of time before the reception. This time allowed us to capture some incredible The Manor Golf and Country Club wedding photos of the wedding party and the newlyweds. It’s important to note that if you’re planning a full Catholic mass for your wedding ceremony, you’ll want to confirm with your wedding photographer the amount of coverage you need to ensure you’ve got everything captured.
The Manor is a spectacular venue in Milton, Georgia, with its elegant interiors and picturesque golf course. They had the space beautifully decorated, incorporating florals all around the room. From the moment Lauren and Marc made their grand entrance, it was clear this would be a celebration to remember.
After the formal introductions and dances were over, we went out on the golf course for golden hour photos. I’m still not sure who trusted me with a golf cart, but it was a blast! Marc and Lauren were so playful and natural together. You could tell that all of their wedding jitters had gone away, and they were fully relaxed, simply enjoying the moment. I’m a big fan of sneaking out for a few minutes during golden hour because these photos are always more relaxed and fun! Marc couldn’t stop giving Lauren little kisses that made her laugh.
Once the traditional events were over, the dance floor opened up, and it was never empty! It was impossible to keep Lauren and Marc off the dance floor, with their energy and happiness lighting up the room. One highlight was Marc’s little brother, who stole the show with his impressive dance moves.
As the night came to an end, guests lined up outside The Manor Golf and Country Club, sparklers in hand, to bid farewell to the newlyweds. It was a great way to end their wedding day. Marc and Lauren’s wedding was filled with so many beautiful moments, and I feel incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.
Here are some of my favorite photos from their stunning The Manor Golf and Country Club wedding!
