Romantic Vineyard Engagement

This vineyard engagement session was an absolute dream to photograph. We were slowly approaching spring, and the weather in Austin was so unpredictable; it would be rainy and 40 degrees one day and then sunny and 70 the next. This happened to be one of those days where it felt like Spring in the day time and quickly transitioned into winter temperatures as the sun disappeared. Side note: I’m a newbie in Texas and definitely wore sandals. Nobody warned me before moving out here that I’d need to keep winter shoes in my trunk or even that we would experience all 4 seasons in the same week. I’m getting used to it! Anyways, Texas blessed us with a (chilly) ‘breeze’ and cloudy skies as the day grew old. Apparently, a breeze out here is intense gusts of winds. We made it work though! Did we struggle for a while? YES. Jennie brought along two incredible friends to hold her hair back and hide as best as they could. In the end, I grew to love the romantic feel the wind was giving us.

As we were planning their engagement session, Jennie and I discussed several locations. A natural location plush with greenery was her biggest request. We came across The Vineyard at Florence and knew it was meant to be. With a sweet table complete with a bottle of Stella, a delicious blanc de bois, and floral from Central Market, it was a perfect setting for these two loves.

I am so excited for Jennie + Inkyu to say their vows next month!
