Cator Woolford Gardens is one of Atlanta’s best-hidden parks. I’ve been photographing Jonathan for years, and now he’s going to be a big brother! This kid is, and always has been, a little ball of endless energy. He always rocks the highest fashion complete with a new bow tie every year. I’m sure Melissa + James take a huge part in what little J actually wears, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he picked out his own trendy outfit!

When Melissa told me she was expecting and wanted to schedule a family session for their announcement, I couldn’t handle my excitement. Last year we did a fun, colorful and urban session with Jonathan so we wanted to go a different route this year. With an intricate Italian style architecture, dense forestry, and lush gardens, Cator Woolford Gardens was the best location for this.

I’ve always loved how playful and hilarious Jonathan is, and finally photographing him with Melissa + James was so much fun! He always loves to choose his own poses and locations, which are often times surprisingly good. I absolutely cannot wait for your sweet baby BOY (whoop!) to arrive, Melissa + James! Jonathan will be the best big brother!
