From the moment I stepped into Erica’s family home in Roswell, where she was getting ready, to capturing Peter’s preparation in the same atmosphere, love and anticipation filled the day. Their Primrose Cottage wedding was an extraordinary occasion that I loved photographing.
Erica and Peter’s love story started in a way that felt like a happy coincidence. Despite attending the same high school without crossing paths, fate brought them together through online dating. They discovered their shared high school connection as they got to know each other.
The beautiful view of Kennesaw Mountain was the perfect setting for Peter to propose to Erica. They took their Montaluce engagement photos on a beautiful day filled with golden light.

Sweet touches filled the morning of the wedding, such as Erica’s brother helping her with her shoes – a simple act that turned into a great moment. The details were incredible, with pearls adorning her veil and a beautiful bow gracing the back of her dress. Erica’s cathedral-length veil added a touch of elegance, creating beautiful motion. Once she was ready for the day, she shared a first look with her dad. It was the sweetest reaction from her dad when he turned around to see her.
Erica and Peter desired to meet before the ceremony, intending to exchange personal vows in an intimate moment shared solely between them. One of the most significant benefits of doing a first look is spending more time together on your wedding day and completing portraits before the ceremony!
Their ceremony occurred at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, which held special significance for the couple since it is their family church. Getting married to each other in the presence of their close friends and family was memorable for them.
The celebration continued at the picturesque Primrose Cottage, a Roswell wedding venue that provided a stunning backdrop for their wedding photos. Nestled within lush gardens, Primrose Cottage boasts a serene setting, featuring a ballroom at the heart of its tranquil surroundings. With indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly blending together, this natural oasis is ideal for cocktail hours and receptions.
While they had a low-key celebration, everyone enjoyed the evening while listening to toasts and showing so much love to the newlyweds. Their reception livened up once they opened the dance floor. Cowboy hats and foam glow sticks added a playful touch. If you want to dance the night away with your friends and family, a great DJ is key, but adding fun props like glow sticks will make everyone go crazy!
It was such a joy to document their special day, and I’m grateful to have been part of their wedding celebration. Congratulations to Erica and Peter on their new life together, wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites from their Primrose Cottage wedding!
