Emily & Chase’s wedding at The Tate House Georgia embodied refined Southern charm with soft, romantic details. The couple’s wedding day celebration centred on their love story, with family bonds and emotional sentiment shaping the narrative of their noteworthy event.

There is something awe-inspiring about the way the sunlight glows in Northern Georgia. In an area known for its breathtaking landscapes and lush forests, memorable sunsets prevail at wedding venues such as The Tate House Georgia. An hour outside Atlanta, the estate wedding venue in Northern Georgia is a historic home crafted of pink and white marble. Constructed in 1921, the home was the former property of Colonel Tate, designed in the Neoclassical architectural style.
Today, the romanticized estate home is a highly regarded North Georgia wedding venue that offers couples an exclusive wedding day experience with a distinctive touch of Southern charm. Emily and Chase selected a Tate House Georgia, wedding for their summer celebration. Working with them to photograph every memorable detail of their unforgettable day was a glimpse inside their love story, a look at the family that showers them with love, and a fun peek into the friendships that surround them.

At the very start of the day, Emily spent the final moments before her Tate House wedding ceremony preparing in the bridal suite. The bride’s mother, along with her wedding party (primarily composed of her cousins) gathered around her throughout those final pre-wedding moments. The array of emotions they shared ranged from belly laughs to heartfelt support for the bride-to-be as she prepared to embark on this journey.
As she slipped on her dress, Emily’s father and groom both awaited her arrival. Speaking to Emily in advance, we worked on a photography timeline that would allow her to share a special first look with her father before meeting Chase, just before their vows. Emily’s father, a true southern gentleman, was basking in the glow of witnessing his little girl as a bride. His emotions were evident with happy tears, warm embraces, and comical laughs all present as he first laid eyes on Emily.
After those significant moments spent with her father, Emily was ready to meet Chase. Exchanging a first look before their walk down the aisle was a way for them to make the most of their wedding day, with intimate moments shared with one another before the addition of their wedding party. Chase was awe-struck upon laying eyes on his bride. Filled with joy at the sight of his beautiful bride, the couples shared exhilaration spilled over into their wedding ceremony.
With the sun high overhead and abundant white florals adorning the garden pavilion behind The Tate House Georgia, Emily and Chase shared personal vows detailing the intricacies of their love story. Joined in marriage, the newlyweds prepared to spend the evening celebrating on the dance floor to the pulse of their live band.

The intentionally planned details of Emily & Chase’s Tate House wedding began with their invitation suite and carried through to their reception details. Soft pink tones, crisp white florals, and glittering details brought forth an evening celebration with its own version of lively energy.
At the start of dinner service, heartfelt speeches were given in honor of the newlyweds by those who know them best. Wrapped up in the warm emotions of the day, Emily’s father and mother took to the microphone for a toast that embraced wisdom, love, and their family connection.
But it was the vibrant dance floor, filled with the sounds of their favorite beats that would close out the evening. As a live band took to the stage, Emily (in her party dress) and Chase emerged, ready to join their guests for one epic party. Fun cutouts donning photos of their sweet pup, along with custom-made hats, graced the dance floor before the newlyweds exited for the evening to the glow of sparklers lighting up the summer sky.
