Sunrise Maternity Session

Tory and Jake’s early morning sunrise maternity session is nothing short of golden. These two are always up for morning sessions with me, and despite the frigid chill in the air, this morning light was everything we could have dreamed of. Watching families grow as the years quickly pass by, I adore documenting these special milestones for them. There’s something so tender about new parents excitedly anticipating their baby to arrive.

It doesn’t seem long ago that we held their chilly engagement session at Piedmont Park or their summer wedding at The Wheeler House. When Tory contacted me and told me she and Jake were expecting, literal tears of joy were streaming down my face because I was SO excited for them. We planned their maternity session for Thanksgiving weekend so they’d be in town visiting family – and so would I! It’s almost impossible to determine the weather in Georgia so we knew it would either be freezing or abnormally warm for fall. I’m sure we were both rooting for warmer weather, but instead, we were given a windy, chilly morning. We braved the cold and took advantage of the dreamy morning light at Vines Gardens.
