As a Lake Lanier family photographer, I recently had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful maternity session with the Preves family at Lake Lanier. Their adorable tiny tot, Kase, wanted to explore the sand and the rocks, so we made sure to make time for some fun playtime with mom and dad. We all had a great time splashing in the water and running around on the lakeside beach.

Megan and James tied the knot in 2017, and now they are happily expecting their second child. Although they are excited to welcome their new baby into the world, their son Kase is just as thrilled!

When Megan told me they wanted to have their maternity session at Lake Lanier, I knew we had chosen the perfect spot. This lake is full of breathtaking views, and its calming atmosphere was the perfect setting for this family to relax and take some photos.

For this maternity session, we explored various areas of the lake. We finished up on the beach, which was the perfect place for Kase to play in the sand. These were our money shots because he was SO into this! He had a blast exploring the rocks, throwing sand and even taking a few steps in the lake. Of course, we made sure to get some shots of Mom and Dad with Kase playing in the water.

It was so wonderful capturing this precious time for Megan, Stephen and Kase. I am so thankful that I could be there to document these special moments before they become a family of four.
