This fall, Little River Farms wedding was filled with heaps of lush florals and heartwarming details. Traditional Jewish wedding rituals were honored throughout the day, with the evening coming to a close with a fun nod to the couple’s university days.

Little River Farms Georgia Wedding Venue

Located within minutes of downtown Atlanta, Little River Farms wedding venue evokes a romantic garden setting that feels as if it’s been plucked out of a European novel. The historic farm and wedding venue features a grand, sweeping landscape complete with abundant fresh flowers blooming, encompassing the property. On the grounds of the venue, you’ll also find a charming gazebo by the water, an idyllic location for wedding photos with the backdrop of the towering foliage. All in all, a Little River Farms wedding offers a setting filled with whimsy where the venue’s rich history collides with its notable landscape, offering breathtaking views in an atmosphere evoking warmth.

However, the beauty of the scenery at Little River Farms is only matched by the interior of the venue, along with the building’s facade. Flanked by lush greenery and fragrant florals, the entry to Little River Farms is similar to that of an estate home. Altogether inviting, with a warmth of hospitality begetting that of an unforgettable wedding day. Inside the venue, you’ll find an all-white getting-ready suite where you’ll spend those final moments preparing before being joined in marriage. The reception space is also located indoors, and it is overflowing with natural light. The space further elicits an environment of celebration with its soft drapery, relaxed seating, stone fireplace, and crystal chandeliers.

Butterflies Among the Chuppah

The Little River Farms wedding featured here was a thoughtfully planned event, with welcome cocktails set out for guests at the start of the ceremony, and custom stationery serving as touchpoints along the way. However, surprising, inspired moments arrived without an invitation from the bride and groom. Under the white chuppah, adorned with white roses and plentiful greenery, monarch butterflies arrived to share their blessings. The incredibly ornate winged creatures are known to represent transformation, resilience, and hope, and on that beautiful fall day at Little River Farms, they carried their message across the wind to the bride and groom.

Celebrating at Little River Farms Wedding Venue

After their ceremony under the chuppah and a pronouncement of marriage, the evening was spent with a Little River Farms reception celebration. Prior to dinner service, the bride’s parents performed the ‘breaking of the bread’. This tradition brings another incredible blessing to the newlyweds while also signifying their shared life and a sense of community among the friends and family who have come to honor them.

As the evening unfolded, toasts were given in honor of the newlyweds, with glasses clinking and laughter shared across the table. The night was spent on the dance floor with a traditional hora, providing a sense of electricity to the celebration, further honoring the sacred vows the newlyweds exchanged.

But there was one more carefully planned detail waiting to close out this Little River Farms wedding. As the bride and groom enjoyed a final, private dance together, guests lined up outside the doors of the venue to bid them farewell, but with a twist. The couple are both alumni of The University of Alabama; accordingly, a crimson getaway car awaited. As the newlyweds made their way to their awaiting ride, friends and family cheered them on with crimson and white pom poms. Their grand exit was a fun nod to their past, while acknowledging the journey they’ve chosen to embark on as a newly married couple.
