This chic Capital City Club wedding was filled with intentional moments and one epic celebration. Caroline and Grant planned a wedding day experience centered on connections, with breakout elements that focused on creating memories with the people closest to them.
At the start of the day, with her sweet fur baby by her side Caroline put the final touches on her wedding day attire. While still in her getting ready suite, she then exchanged a first look with her father. Caroline’s dad was overcome with happiness at the sight of his little girl on her wedding day. They shared a hug and private moment, including a gift exchange, to mark the occasion.
On her way to the ceremony, Caroline also shared a fun first look with her bridesmaids. Dressed for the day in complementary hues of earthy green floor-length gowns, Caroline’s wedding party erupted in applause and cheers when they laid eyes on Caroline in her classic sweetheart neckline bridal gown.

Caroline and Grant were joined in marriage at The Cathedral of St. Philip, one of the largest Episcopal congregations in the United States. Choosing to exchange sacred wedding vows at the cathedral was, in a sense, an homage to Caroline’s parents, who were wed at the same church years ago.
On the day of their wedding, the aisle of the cathedral was lined with softly flickering hurricane votives, adding a layer of romantic ambiance to the spirtual setting. Caroline made her way down the aisle of the church, escorted by her father, as her delicate, yet befitting, cathedral-length veil gently swept behind her.
At the altar, Caroline and Grant affirmed their faith, exchanging sacred wedding vows in reverence. With the members of their wedding party by their side, and their guests lining the pews, they were pronounced husband and wife.

A private wedding venue in Atlanta, hosting a Capital City Club wedding, requires membership or to be sponsored by a member in good standing. This exclusive venue is the embodiment of a Southern wedding experience, where service is custom-tailored to personalized selections, and hospitality includes interactive touch points for you and your guests throughout the duration of the evening.
Caroline and Grant’s Capital City Club wedding was planned though an exceptional perspective. In place of a traditional sit-down, plated dinner reception, the newlyweds honored their guests with a floating cocktail-style celebration.
Upon arrival, guests were immediately greeted by a champagne station, beckoning the start of the festivities with a glass of bubbly poured in honor of the newlyweds. Carefully selected menu options were available through hands-on food stations. Allowing Caroline and Grant’s family and friends to mix and mingle as they dined at a leisurely pace.
But the merriment unfolded on the dance floor of their Capital City wedding. Caroline and Grant made their grand entrance onto the black and white checkered dance floor and instantly transitioned into their first dance. An energetic live band played throughout the evening, elevating the energy in the room for every milestone dance. When the formalities concluded, the energy shifted and it was time to party.
Caroline and Grant joined their guests, enlisting the help of light-up thunder sticks and heart-shaped sunglasses to cut loose on the night of their wedding. Deep in the fray, they reveled in their Capital City Club wedding reception, dancing beside one another, urging their guests to join in the revelry.
As their evening drew to a close, there was one final moment that required guest participation: the newlyweds’ grand exit. With beloved friends and adored family members lined up just outside their Capital City Club in Brookhaven, Caroline and Grant made their way to the getaway car waiting just outside the doors.
