Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Lifestyle and newborn photography is quickly becoming one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Although I am very passionate about photographing weddings, lifestyle sessions are a nice change of pace. Whether it’s capturing the newness of a family with their newborn, or the authentic moments of newlyweds in their first home together, there is something so sweet about the simplicity of a session within the comfort of your home.

The Dunn’s welcomed Baby Grayson into the world, and I was honored to photograph some of their very first moments as a family together in their home. Their sweet pup, Finley, was quick to greet me and she was very curious about the new kid in the house. She was sure to situate herself by the crib every chance she had! If you know me, you know I am a sucker for pets and had to let Finley join in on a couple of photos.

It’s always sweet to include pieces of the past that define you, and specifically your alma mater. As graduates of UNC (Go Tarheels!), it was a must that we pulled out some of Dad’s college lacrosse gear. It’s safe to say that Baby Grayson may be a future Tarheel!
